About HPX Converter
A small macOS utility for converting Panasonic HPX170 P2 footage into MOV files for modern editing workflows.
HPX Converter reads standard P2 card folders, verifies video/audio pairing through CLIP XML metadata, and exports numbered MOV files in shoot order. It handles batch conversion without Premiere or Media Encoder.
The app was built to simplify getting HPX170 footage onto current Macs. It is developed and tested with HPX170 P2 cards; other P2 cameras using the same folder layout may work but are not fully tested.
